In her most recent experience, Jennifer served as the Director of the Leeds Scholars Program and Honors Experience, which selected the top undergraduate business students to participate in honors and leadership programs. Previously, Jennifer was the Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions overseeing all recruitment, selection, and outreach for undergraduate students at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Jennifer’s passion for working with high school students during the college process was evident in her seven years in undergraduate admissions where she served in many roles, worked with thousands of students on personal essays, resumes, and letters of recommendation. Jennifer has traveled to most of the 50 states, both personally and professionally, and has experience working with diverse backgrounds, high achieving students, homeschooled students, and families with international and military affiliations. Jennifer is also an application reader for Colorado College.

High Achieving Student Experience
As the Director of Talented Scholar Recruitment, Jennifer worked with state foundations, such as the Boettcher Foundation and the Daniels Foundation as well as national scholarship organizations like Coca Cola and National Merit to recruit academically talented and diverse applicants. In this position, Jennifer worked with academic colleges and schools to create merit based scholarships, collaborated with honors and leadership programs to streamline application and selection processes, and volunteered with the office of financial aid to review applications for scholarships.

As the Associate Director, Jennifer collaborated with academic colleges and schools to develop guidelines for admissions selection and strategies to enhance the academic profile of the students selected. Working specifically with the College of Engineering and Applied Science and the Leeds School of Business, Jennifer was able to manage more selective reading guidelines and processes through which applicants were considered. With her experience working with academically talented students, Jennifer enjoys guiding students who are applying to selective programs at various colleges and helping with the personal interview process.

Loves Helping Students Stand Out
Jennifer enjoys working with students on the application process so that the student’s application is three-dimensional and exemplifies the student’s accomplishments, both academically and personally.
